Job Description

As a key member of our Oracle team, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational aspects of our Data Center Environment. You will be the technical liaison between our technology teams and the Data Center, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

You will be supporting our growth path and will be recognized as a 'technical expert' with a focus on core Data Center infrastructure. Your expertise will be invaluable in troubleshooting and solving infrastructure issues, and you will be responsible for making recommendations to resolve system errors and performance issues.

You will be working closely with internal teams to troubleshoot problems and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for design-related problems. You will also be responsible for maintaining all technical documentation regarding corporate data centers, including procedures for operations.

Additionally, you will be working with Regional leaders and other business leaders to manage projects, optimize performance, and improve the reliability and efficiency of the collocation, leased, and owned data center infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-8 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure Operations support and server administration in a mid-sized environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following areas: Power Capacity allocation, Incident management and resolution, Systems administration, Networking

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the design and functionality of the Data Centers within your assigned Region
  • Provide audits for power and mechanical capacity or upgrades
  • Work with internal teams to troubleshoot problems and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for design-related problems
  • Maintain all technical documentation regarding corporate data centers, including procedures for operations
  • Work with Regional leaders and other business leaders to manage projects, optimize performance, and improve the reliability and efficiency of the collocation, leased, and owned data center infrastructure
