Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Grounds Person to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize hand lines to lower branches and equipment safely.
  • Unload, organize, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
  • Operate ground equipment including handsaws and pole saws, as well as trucks and loaders.
  • Maintain and service vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Ensure the safety of team members and the public by communicating effectively with aerial workers.
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings to promote a culture of safety.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and policies, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Keep the work area tidy and organized.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the safe operation and maintenance of chippers, chainsaws, and related equipment.
  • Previous experience in tree trimming, limbing, and equipment operation is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record is required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
