Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
  • Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, precepting student nurses and new hires as needed.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
