Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential through exercise and the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and other team members, and provide education to patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, team conferences, and in-services to support the growth and development of our organization.
  • Adhere to the standards of our Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and relevant professional standards.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Minimum of six months of occupational therapy experience preferred.
  • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
