At ARcare Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging lessons and activities that promote the holistic development of each child.
- Support the implementation of our approved curriculum for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Facilitate learning experiences that enhance school readiness through language skills and vocabulary development.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with children and develop positive relationships.
- Communicate daily with families of children in care and complete required reports and documentation.
- Participate in continuing education classes and training as required by ARcare and/or the childcare director.
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of verifiable experience working with children and families.
- Proficient in the operation of a computer and office equipment.
- Ability to register with the Arkansas Professional Development Registry and complete annual in-service training.
Constantly: standing, walking, sitting, lifting 10lbs or less, handling, climbing, reaching outward, crawling, reaching above head, pushing/pulling 20lbs or less, squatting and/or kneeling.
Frequently: pushing/pulling 21-100lbs, bending, lifting 11-20lbs, lifting 21-50lbs.
Occasionally: standing, walking, sitting, lifting 10lbs or less, handling, climbing, reaching outward, crawling, reaching above head, pushing/pulling 20lbs or less, squatting and/or kneeling.
Other Physical Requirements: vision, sense of sound, sense of touch.
