Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate imaging
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner
  • Promote a safe work environment and adhere to national patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
