We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team and provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and treat patients' medical conditions with compassion and expertise.
- Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret results to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information, including examination results, medical history, and reports.
- Perform minor procedures and explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals to empower patients with knowledge and skills.
- Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments, demonstrating a commitment to quality care.
- Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Keep up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication to provide the best possible care.
- Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
- Assist with supervising mid-level providers as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine (required).
- 5 years of residency training (required).
- Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required).
- 2+ years of clinical work experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Fantastic counseling and listening skills.
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills and communication.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
- Great management and leadership skills.
