Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat patients' medical conditions with compassion and expertise.
  • Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret results to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
  • Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information, including examination results, medical history, and reports.
  • Perform minor procedures and explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals to empower patients with knowledge and skills.
  • Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments, demonstrating a commitment to quality care.
  • Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Keep up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication to provide the best possible care.
  • Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with supervising mid-level providers as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine (required).
  • 5 years of residency training (required).
  • Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required).
  • 2+ years of clinical work experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Fantastic counseling and listening skills.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
  • Great management and leadership skills.
