UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of our system, featuring 502 licensed beds and specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our facility includes a 24-hour emergency room with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a diverse team of over 500 physicians across various subspecialties.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves organizing clinical data, facilitating communication with clinic managers, and educating healthcare personnel on the accurate documentation of DSRIP measures. The ideal candidate will:
- Exhibit a team-oriented mindset, prioritizing quality incentive regulations and audit compliance.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Oversee assignments and monitor the activities of DSRIP Pre-Visit Planners.
- Provide training, motivation, and leadership to team members.
- Generate weekly opportunity reports for clinical staff and monthly year-to-date standings for management.
- Conduct chart reviews to identify training opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics and highlight areas needing focus.
- Deliver training and guidance on DSRIP workflow processes.
- Execute physician orders for assigned patients.
- Provide essential patient and family education regarding healthcare.
- Assist in gathering patient information from external facilities.
- Research and input data into medical documents for provider review.
- Document procedure results in the electronic health record.
- Facilitate referrals for recommended health information and services.
- Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
This position requires effective verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening abilities. You will maintain a collaborative relationship with healthcare teams by sharing information, responding to inquiries, and engaging in team problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
BSN is required. Current TX RN License is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in NICU. EMR experience, particularly with EPIC, is preferred.
