Medical Expertise for Air Force Personnel
**Job Summary**
As a Podiatric Surgeon in the United States Air Force, you will provide medical care and treatment to Airmen with foot and ankle problems. Your expertise will help keep our personnel on their feet and mission-ready.
**Responsibilities**
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, from calluses to broken bones
* Provide medical care and treatment to Airmen with foot and ankle problems
* Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive care
* Meet the physical demands of the Air Force by maintaining a high level of physical fitness
**Requirements**
* Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathic medicine
* Minimum 24 months' podiatric surgical residency program
* Minimum of six months experience in podiatry assignments
* Valid and current license to practice podiatric medicine
* Completion of Officer Training School course
* Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
