About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified IT Hardware Technician to join our team at Acara Solutions. As a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for extension, this role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various duties in support of end-users for IT hardware and/or software, including:

  • Migrating workstations to Windows 9 or 10
  • Demonstrating professional desktop support history with a variety of platforms/systems/applications and tools
  • Operating system expertise - Windows, Unix/Linux, Apple, Network protocol and Image loading protocol
  • LAN/NETWORK connectivity and basic network connectivity assessment for troubleshooting or setups

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

What We Offer

In addition to the salary and benefits package, you will have the opportunity to work on-site at our customers' facilities and participate in the relocation of customer employees, including moving PCs and activating data drops in new locations.
