Electrical Assembler Job Description

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our production team in Tucson. As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of electromechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual assembly, hand soldering, and operate automated assembly and test equipment.
  • Inspect and repair products, perform machine setups, and handle first-line preventive maintenance.
  • Assemble components using pre-set tools, fixtures, and machines.
  • Rework and review components and assemblies.
  • Hand solder Through Hole, SMT, or Flex products, using a scope when needed.
  • Prepare wire by cutting, stripping, twisting, tinning, and soldering to various parts.
  • Clean parts and place components using in-line cleaning, hand cleaning, or vapor degreasing methods.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electronics or mechanics is a plus.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in electrical assembly, PCB testing and troubleshooting a plus.
  • Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications, and SMT processes.
  • Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly, and soldering equipment.
