Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to elementary school students in the Campbell, CA area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to assess the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students in the elementary grades.
- Collaborate with general education and special education teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans that promote student success.
- Provide individual and small group counseling services to address a range of student needs, including learning disabilities, social-emotional challenges, behavioral concerns, and academic motivation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, social-emotional learning (SEL), and mental health awareness for elementary students.
- Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to support students with diverse learning needs in the classroom setting.
- Analyze data, monitor student progress, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing support plans.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school psychology.
- California State License as a School Psychologist.
- Prior experience working with students in an elementary school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong assessment skills with a variety of psychoeducational tests and measures.
- Expertise in evidence-based interventions and strategies to support academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and positive behavior in elementary school students.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and record keeping.
- A commitment to equity and inclusion in the school environment.
- A passion for helping elementary school students overcome challenges and achieve success in both academic and social-emotional domains.
