Job Title: Speech Therapist

New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic services and implementing therapeutic measures to students with visual impairments.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and voice disorders in students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students

Requirements:

  • BS degree or higher in Speech Therapy
  • Eligible for New Mexico PED licensure
  • Background/experience in teaching students with visual/multiple impairments preferred
