Job Title: Software Development Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, testing, configuring, and deploying our complex, real-time software solutions into simulation and live flight exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop software solutions using C++ and Java
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and guide development efforts
* Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment
* Develop and maintain software build tools, such as Ant, Maven, or Gradle
* Work with version control systems, such as Git
* Collaborate with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer-related field
* 4+ years of software design, code, and test experience
* US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
* Strong software architecture, design, and development experience
* Experience with version control systems, such as Git
* Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA

Preferred Qualifications:

* Mission planning domain and route finding algorithm development
* Data fusion experience
* Experience with distributed systems or Military systems or simulations
* Experience with modeling and simulation software
* Architecture experience
