Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standardized procedures as directed and assigned by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assist with patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of physical therapy assistant curriculum.
  • License in the State of Nebraska to practice as a physical therapist assistant.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk constantly, and sit occasionally.
