TECH 1 - $27.80

  • Operate under close supervision.
  • Engage in daily tasks and provide general support for projects.
  • Assist senior technicians in maintaining the preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Learn the production processes within the department.
  • Conduct minor troubleshooting for visible issues.

TECH 2 - $29.25

  • Complete all responsibilities of the Technician 1 role.
  • Perform daily checks on equipment.
  • Coordinate production schedules and mold changes.
  • Address moderate complexity process issues.
  • Set up new robotic systems based on existing protocols.
  • Document and report deviations and operational concerns.

TECH 3 - $30.45

  • Fulfill all duties of Technician 2.
  • Oversee 10-20 injection molding machines and related equipment.
  • Conduct daily checks and perform mold changes.
  • Collaborate with production teams on scheduling.
  • Tackle medium to high complexity process challenges.
  • Work with minimal supervision and mentor junior technicians.

TECH 4 - $31.95

  • Carry out all responsibilities of Technician 3.
  • Ensure production demands are met in the molding area.
  • Initiate projects aimed at reducing reject rates.
  • Identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Set up new processes across various molding machines.
  • Train and mentor new technicians.

TECH 5 - $34.65

  • Lead technician in the molding area during weekdays and weekends.
  • Act as a liaison with production to address scheduling matters.
  • Guide specific activities within the process group.
  • Perform at an engineering level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

TECH 1: Minimum of 1-year technical experience with a willingness to learn.

TECH 3: 2-3 years of experience; ability to work independently and solve moderate complexity issues.

TECH 4: Minimum of 5 years of experience; capable of managing complex assignments with minimal supervision.

TECH 5: 6-8 years of experience; expert in process control documentation and leadership roles expected.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office environment for 1 hour per day.
  • Manufacturing environment for 7 hours per day.
  • Overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes.
  • Overtime may be required to meet internal deadlines.

HAZARDS:

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Moderate noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
  • Potential exposure to equipment, electric shock, conveyors, and chemicals.
