We are looking for a Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN) to become part of our Nutrition Team within a Senior Living Community.
Key Duties:
1. Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, nutrition education, and interventions for the patient population.
2. Adhere to all guidelines as specified in the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
4. Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as needed.
5. Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications:
1. Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board in applicable states.
3. Preferred one (1) year of experience in long-term care.
4. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
