About the Job
MCR Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Hotel Linen Attendant to join our team. As a vital member of our hotel operations, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy clean and comfortable linens throughout their stay.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading of washers, dryers, and laundry chutes, folding, storing and delivering. This includes washing and drying dirty linens, towels, rags, etc., as directed by management. You will also be responsible for removing and sorting dirty linens and towels from laundry carts, folding linens/towels and stocking linen carts, as required. Additionally, you will need to understand operation of washing machines and dryers, clean dryer filter daily, and maintain all equipment as trained. Safety protocols must always be followed to ensure safety for guests and fellow employees. Other responsibilities include sweeping and mopping laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor, keeping laundry carts clean and free of debris, and being familiar with all Company policies and Brand Standards. Stocking all linen closets throughout the hotel, as applicable, is also a part of this role.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, as well as the ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. Effective communication skills are essential, as well as maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure. The physical demands of this job require the ability to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full), with potential weight between 50-400 pounds, and occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer, with potential weight between 25-150lbs. A desire to serve all guests and being 18 years of age or older to perform this job are also necessary qualifications.
