Physical Therapist

As a skilled Physical Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in the physical therapy management of patients. You will report to the Director, Assistant Director, and/or Clinical Supervisor, working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and interpret examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, developing personalized plans to restore their abilities and improve their quality of life.
- Establish and implement treatment plans, utilizing a range of modalities and exercises to achieve established goals and promote patient progress.
- Administer and prescribe physical agents, exercise programs, and patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and participate in discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.
- Provide education and advice to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and recovery.
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities, and applicable state, federal, and local laws, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire OR Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Notes:
- This is a temporary position for approximately 180 days.
- Work will be performed in an outpatient clinic with hospital rotation, including weekends and holidays.
