Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Effectively complete scheduled maintenance plans to prevent unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Quality Assurance: Understand and implement Quality Management Systems, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP, to ensure product safety and quality.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in RCA on equipment and process failures, providing insights and suggesting corrective actions to improve overall performance.
- Training and Development: Train operators on maintenance techniques, ensuring a high level of competence and efficiency within the team.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document all maintenance work within the CMMS system, adhering to established processes and procedures.
- Industrial Experience: 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree in a related field.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Certifications: HACCP Certification and Forklift License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working Knowledge: Familiarity with ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment.
- Training and Development: AIB Bakery Equipment training course or equivalent experience.
