About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Illinois. As a Family Practice PA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, urgent care, or walk-in care, with experience working in an outpatient only setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of physicians and APPs to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to patients in an outpatient setting
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists when necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Illinois license, certification as a Physician Assistant-Certified, and at least 1 year of experience in primary care, urgent care, or walk-in care. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
