Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Lead will be responsible for:
  • Leading the maintenance team by preparing schedules, coordinating work orders, and providing training.
  • Organizing and prioritizing service requests and repairs, ensuring timely and accurate completion while maintaining detailed records.
  • Overseeing the operations to ensure vacant units are ready for rent promptly, performing various repairs, and managing the quality of maintenance services.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems and conducting minor electrical repairs.
  • Conducting inspections of vacant units to assess make-ready needs and coordinating with management for scheduling and procurement of major replacements.
  • Maintaining the grounds, including trash collection, sweeping, pressure washing, and landscape upkeep.
  • Providing 24-hour emergency maintenance services as required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED, with specialized vocational training and a minimum of three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
  • Licensing and trade certifications in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English at an intermediate level to interpret diagrams, meters, and instructions, as well as the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.
