Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist

This role is centered around optimizing finished goods inventory control from production to distribution. The ideal candidate will be able to work with external and internal platforms to create data sets leading to actionable logistics decisions. The individual should be self-motivated and willing to solve operational deviations on a daily basis. Self-perpetuated investigation of inbound and outbound deviations is vital. This role will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting production facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect data on supply chain operations and provide reports on performance metrics
  • Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Track stock movements to minimize production to warehouse and warehouse to warehouse discrepancies
  • Identify and troubleshoot warehouse errors and inefficiencies
  • Use external portals to aggregate data and provide insights
  • Predictive stock movement analysis to inform inventory decisions
  • Daily discrepancy and shortage analysis to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Daily EDI transaction monitoring and troubleshooting to prevent errors
  • Monitor and investigate records of inventory transactions, including negative/positive adjustments
  • Identify continuous automation opportunities and suggest actionable steps to bring to IT/Development
  • Validate and follow up on invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Relay quality deviations to proper production channels and remediate issues
  • Interpret customer claims and create operational ways of working to reduce issues
  • Filing warehouse claims to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Aggregate and present warehouse KPIs to inform business decisions
  • Control short-dated product inventory and correct lot and expiration dates
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3 or more years of experience in supply chain or logistics
  • A minimum of 2 years of data analytics experience
  • Food or CPG background is a plus, but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, techniques, and software, including advanced Excel functions
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their data structures
  • Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and emerging analytics techniques
