Medical Assistant

Capital Health (US) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare exam rooms for patient encounters and assist healthcare providers as needed.
- Review patient charts, ensuring all necessary lab work and diagnostic procedures have been completed.
- Accurately document patient medical history, current medications, treatments, and problem lists.
- Assist with patient equipment downloads and printing reports for healthcare provider review.
- Perform clerical duties, including patient registration, billing, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, disinfection, and pasteurization, documenting appropriately.
- Communicate accurate patient information to patients and healthcare providers.
- Input data into registration, electronic medical record, database, and scheduling systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of work experience as a medical assistant, EMT, or other direct patient care role.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
