Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for examinations
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and vascular ultrasound procedures
  • Recognize and record anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment
  • Care for sonography equipment and report any issues
  • Write reports based on scan results and completion
  • Alert medical staff to any abnormalities requiring immediate attention
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
  • 1 year scanning experience preferred
  • RDMS certification within 1 year of hire
  • Vascular certification preferred
Work Schedule:

One Sunday 6am-6:30pm shift per month and 2 weekend call shifts a month
