We are seeking a skilled and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at ActivStars Athletics, LLC. as a part-time instructor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Karate, Taekwondo, or a similar traditional forms-based martial art, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students of all skill levels.

• Teach evening classes to students of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced ranks.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum guidelines.
• Oversee class check-in, basic record-keeping, and promote tournaments, camps, or clinics.
• Participate in paid training sessions to learn our teaching guidelines, records, and onsite training with a veteran instructor.

• A certified black belt in a traditional forms-based martial art.
• A solid technical foundation and knowledge of self-defense skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A reliable vehicle to get to and from the location(s).
• Availability to teach weekday evenings, typically between 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

• $15 - $30+/hr. teaching pay, based on student rate.
• Average monthly earnings of $300 - $400 per month, teaching just one day a week.
