The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, responsible for conducting various imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This position requires a high level of technical skill and knowledge in radiologic technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of imaging examinations, including Computerized Tomography (CT) scans and Diagnostic X-ray procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and technique to achieve optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain meticulous records of imaging procedures and patient information.
Qualifications:
- Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Advanced ARRT certification in CT or other specialized areas is preferred.
- Completion of a 24-month accredited training program in diagnostic radiologic technology.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
