Anodizing Technician

Position Title: Anodizing Technician

We are looking for a proficient Anodizing Technician to execute sulfuric acid anodizing processes, including the application of dyes, particularly black dye. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both sulfuric and chromic acid anodizing techniques, as well as experience with chemical conversion coatings (Chem.-Treat) in manual and tank processing environments.

As a Level 4 Anodizing Technician, your duties will encompass:

• Applying anodizing and Chem.-Treat processes to various aluminum part configurations to enhance corrosion resistance, improve paint primer adhesion, or achieve decorative finishes.
• Maintaining and cleaning anodizing equipment and tools.
• Racking and unracking parts for processing.
• Conducting inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Training and mentoring junior operators.
• Processing products in compliance with international regulations.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in sulfuric acid anodizing applications.
• Experience with chromic acid anodizing processes.
• Knowledge of Chem.-Treat applications.
• Ability to maintain racks and racking equipment.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

This is a permanent position.

This role is based in an aerospace finishing facility.
