Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
- Meet the requirements for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia and maintain current licensure.
- Hold a verified nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing within 120 days of the residency start date and be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam or have already received a passing score.
- Obtain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and meet all Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) personnel qualifications and responsibilities requirements for individuals prior to directing and/or performing non-waived point of care testing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Must possess a verified nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing within 120 days of the residency start date.
- Must be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam or have already received a passing score.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
