Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
  • Meet the requirements for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia and maintain current licensure.
  • Hold a verified nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing within 120 days of the residency start date and be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam or have already received a passing score.
  • Obtain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and meet all Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) personnel qualifications and responsibilities requirements for individuals prior to directing and/or performing non-waived point of care testing.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Must possess a verified nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing within 120 days of the residency start date.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam or have already received a passing score.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
