Experienced Shipfitter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced shipfitter to join our team at LEAD Staffing. As a leading staffing and recruiting partner, we specialize in connecting talented professionals with exciting opportunities in various industries.

1. Lay out and fabricate metal plates, bulkheads, and frames to ensure precise and high-quality results.
2. Tack weld brackets and plates to meet the required standards.
3. Prepare molds and templates for fabrication to ensure efficient production.
4. Operate shop machinery such as plate rolls, presses, punch presses, and other machines to complete tasks.

1. Minimum 4 years of shipyard and shipfitting experience to demonstrate expertise and skills.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements.
3. DBIDS eligibility to meet the necessary qualifications.
