We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT team at Founders Federal Credit Union in Lancaster, SC. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats and ensuring the security of our systems and data.

Responsibilities

1. Protecting Systems and Data: You will be responsible for ensuring the effective integration of Information Technology systems and services with our Information Security Program and Policy. This involves researching upcoming IT trends, reviewing suspicious activities, reporting security breaches, and educating employees on cybersecurity best practices.
2. Cybersecurity Research and Analysis: You will conduct research on emerging threats, analyze data to identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of cyber threats and protect our organization's assets.
3. Collaboration and Communication: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will work closely with our CSOC team to create and execute Security Awareness Training and Testing for the enterprise and FIT clients. You will also communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring seamless collaboration within our team.
4. Professional Development: To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for continuous learning and professional growth. You will have access to training opportunities and resources to enhance your skills and certifications, including ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification within 12 months.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent Communication Skills: You must have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong documentation and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. You should possess strong data analysis, research, analytical, and testing skills, as well as experience with threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Team Player: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative team that values work-life balance and employee well-being. You must be able to work independently without significant supervision and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer an estimated annual salary of $80,000-$100,000, based on location and experience.
