Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in commercial and industrial environments safely.
  • Install conduit, pull wire, and terminate controls according to control schematics.
  • Read and interpret control drawings to facilitate the installation of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on control systems as required.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, test components with appropriate tools, disassemble and reassemble parts, and execute necessary repairs.
  • Utilize knowledge of Building Automation Systems for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Complete required electronic documentation daily using mobile devices or computers.
  • Drive company vehicle to service calls within designated areas.
  • Execute additional related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC controls or electrical installation/service.
  • Electrical background with a willingness to learn about HVAC controls.
  • Tridium N4 certification or the ability to obtain it is mandatory.

  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and adaptable attitude.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude along with mathematical and English proficiency.
  • Comply with company safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with a positive and caring attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs comfortably and perform physical tasks such as standing, squatting, and bending.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and equipment layout materials.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and physical capacity assessment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for projects.
