The team comprises a skilled group of 6 Anesthesiologists and 3 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Daily operations involve 2 Anesthesiologists and 3 CRNAs managing 4 operating rooms, with one physician available for obstetric coverage.

Focus: This position is dedicated solely to operating room cases, which encompass a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, gynecology, and obstetrics.

Compensation Package: The annual salary for this role is $500,000, which includes a $450,000/year 1099 arrangement plus a $50,000 W2 Medical Director stipend. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, including coverage for all provider malpractice insurance. Health benefits commence on the first day of employment.

Work Schedule: The work schedule follows a 3-week rotation, requiring 11 working days within a 21-day cycle. The schedule includes a mix of weekdays and weekends, with rotating on-call responsibilities. The specifics are as follows: the first week involves M-Sun shifts with rotating call, followed by Tuesday to Friday shifts the next week, also with rotating call, and then 9 days off. Daily OR coverage is required, with on-call duties every other night during working periods (no obstetric call).

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
