Job Opportunity

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Abbottstown, Pennsylvania area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified educator to provide instructional support to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective support
  • Utilize specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and resources to promote student learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal assessment methods

Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Special Education Teacher in the state of PA
  • Valid and active license
  • Experience is recommended but new graduates are welcome
