Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments including Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Services to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Lead teams focused on enhancing throughput, yield, and safety.
- Act as the primary resource for implementing improvement methodologies.
- Promote Continuous Improvement initiatives within the assigned area using appropriate quality tools.
- Supervise Melt Shop Observers and manage additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Two to five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or metallurgical setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications and possess strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and understanding of metallurgical processes.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
