Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care Center team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex wound, ostomy, and skin care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage wound, ostomy, and skin care needs of patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal wound healing and skin integrity
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and skin management
- Document patient care and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License
- 1-3 years of experience in medical-surgical clinical setting
- Basic knowledge of wound, ostomy, and skin care management
- Advanced knowledge of wound, ostomy, and skin care management
- Experience in wound care and skin management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
