Physical Therapist

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide direct and indirect services to students in a school district in Washington, OR. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Special Education and be able to provide consultation and support to staff members.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct Physical Therapy evaluations and provide direct and indirect services for eligible assigned students.
- Assure that all Physical Therapy Services are provided in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional ethics.
- Offer consultation and support to staff members regarding motor development.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each student's specific strengths and challenges related to fine and gross motor development.
- Create motor development plans for students, based on assessment results.
- Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills.
- Develop and implement sensory integration strategies for students with sensory needs.
- Support students with orthopedic needs, working collaboratively with occupational therapists.
- Diligently complete all essential paperwork to maintain adherence to district, state, and federal regulations.
- Attend mandatory Special Education meetings, including IEP, evaluation, and post-evaluation meetings.
- Complete required records and deliver them to the district as necessary, in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
- Participate in staff development training sessions, including in-service training for teachers and school personnel.
