Job Summary:

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and advocating for the health and well-being of our customers. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on their medication needs.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and care.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Model and promote a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction within our pharmacy team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
