We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in a state-of-the-art medical imaging facility. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines to produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing the procedure.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI machines to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adjust technique parameters for age-related factors
- Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed
- Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required
- Associates degree preferred
- 1 year medical imaging experience required
- 1 year MRI experience preferred
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ARRT (MR) upon hire required or ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire required or ARRT (R), (CT) or (N) upon hire required or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT) upon hire required and CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT upon hire required and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT 12 months required or ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT 12 months required
