Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming Patients: Greet patients in person and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Preparing Patients for Exams: Direct and/or accompany patients to the examining room, help them position themselves for the examination and/or treatment, and arrange examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verifying Patient Information: Interview patients, review and/or record medical history, take vital signs, and confirm the purpose of the visit or treatment.
Performing Patient Exams
  • Spirometry (PFT): Perform spirometry tests, including training provided.
  • Fundus Photos: Take fundus photos, including training provided.
  • ANS/Sudo Testing: Perform ANS/Sudo testing, including equipment-driven and training provided.
  • Neural Testing: Conduct neural testing, including training provided.
  • Basic Vitals and Height/Weight: Take basic vital signs and measure height and weight.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in the patient medical record.
  • Supply Management: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a healthcare worker in any capacity.
  • Medical Assistant Experience: 6 months of experience as a medical assistant (preferred).
Work Environment

This is a PRN position that involves travel to multiple locations in the Austin area. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and great communication skills. We offer a competitive salary of $24.00 per hour and a flexible schedule that includes day shifts from Monday to Saturday.
