Role Summary
The primary role of the Shahbaz is to deliver compassionate care to our Elders residing in a Green House home. This includes safeguarding their well-being, assisting with daily living activities, and addressing their individual needs. Your work will focus on promoting a high quality of life and fostering a positive Elderhood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your household team to recognize and respond to the needs and preferences of the Elders.
  • Encourage Elders to make choices about their daily routines and the household environment.
  • Manage household operations, including meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry, while engaging Elders in meaningful activities.
  • Work alongside nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.
  • Document and communicate resident status to team members and nursing staff as necessary.
  • Assist Elders with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity and respect in all interactions.
  • Implement restorative and rehabilitative procedures as directed by care plans.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the clinical team.
  • Support Elders in maintaining their nutritional needs through meal planning and preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the home, performing routine housekeeping tasks.
  • Respond promptly to Elders' requests for assistance and support their participation in daily activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current and valid CNA certification. Experience in long-term care settings is preferred, along with strong communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting and moving residents as needed. The role involves constant interaction with residents and may expose staff to various health risks.
