The role of Conveyor Technician II involves ensuring the effective maintenance of all aspects of building systems by performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and enhancements on automation systems, MHE, and building infrastructure
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills
  • Prioritize safety in all tasks
  • Identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues
  • Gather necessary materials for repairs and work orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adapt to flexible work hours as required
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts
  • Assess and resolve a variety of maintenance challenges on-site
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks using appropriate tools
  • Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians as needed
  • Manage battery changes and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Understand the operational efficiency of equipment and systems
  • Maintain organization and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance related to Material Handling Systems and Facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trade School or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to grasp, bend, and lift
  • Capability to work at heights and in unusual positions
  • Proficient in operating hand tools safely
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions
