Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and physical assets are maintained in a safe and operational condition. This role involves overseeing a team of employees, prioritizing tasks, and providing essential guidance for daily operations. The Site Supervisor may also engage in maintenance projects and will monitor workflow to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, supervise, and mentor employees to complete daily tasks within set deadlines while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Oversee and assist with the daily activities of laborers, ensuring effective scheduling to meet operational demands.
- Identify and communicate priority projects or issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and incident reporting procedures.
- Act as a resource and role model for co-workers, promoting a culture of safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, or over 3 years of relevant experience or training.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator operations.
- Knowledge of blending and mixing processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to hear alarms and signals effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with grain handling equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Experience in equipment servicing and maintenance.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position that may require occasional overtime. The work environment may include:
- Extreme temperatures (hot summers and cold winters).
- High levels of grain dust.
- Physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders.
- Working in confined spaces and performing strenuous labor.
All employees must comply with safety standards and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. A drug-free workplace policy is strictly enforced.
