- Oversee the development and implementation of civil engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Use advanced knowledge of stormwater management, hydrology, environmental engineering, grading, site development, and Civil 3D to create innovative solutions.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met and exceeded.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to manage project risks effectively.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stormwater management, hydrology, environmental engineering, grading, site development, and Civil 3D.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts and solutions to team members and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- A deep understanding of environmental regulations and safety standards in the engineering industry.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
