Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to our customers' refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Process job tickets and work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes, is very helpful.
