Job Summary:The Pediatric Surgery department at Arnold Palmer Hospital provides 24/7 care for pediatric patients undergoing elective, urgent, and emergent surgical procedures. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, education, and medication administration
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- 2 years of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications required for certain areas
