Dialysis Healthcare Professional

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will work closely with Puget Sound Kidney Centers to deliver high-quality dialysis care to patients in local hospitals and contracted facilities.
Responsibilities:- This role involves performing dialysis-related services as required by our contract with Puget Sound Kidney Centers.
- The successful candidate will identify and implement plans to meet acute or chronic patients' emotional and physical needs in the hospital, in conjunction with the patient's primary staff RN.
- Effective communication is key in this role, ensuring that patient status is communicated to appropriate multi-disciplinary practitioners.
- Initiating, monitoring, and discontinuing treatments according to PSKC procedures is also a critical responsibility.
- Ongoing assessment of patients' physical and emotional needs, examination and documentation of clinical findings, and review of laboratory data and dialysis orders are essential duties.
- Maintaining accurate and timely Electronic Medical Records (EMR) dialysis flow sheets is crucial for effective record-keeping.
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order and reporting changes and repairs as needed is vital for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Executing medical staff orders for treatment in a timely manner is critical for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining strict adherence to infection control practices is essential for preventing the spread of infection.
- Accurately identifying, communicating, and intervening with regard to medical crises or complications is crucial for saving lives.
- Attending staff meetings when scheduled, assisting in re-positioning patients, and providing leadership and supervision to Dialysis Technicians are important aspects of this role.
- Participating in rotating float or on-call schedule as needed, and participating in orientation and training of new employees are also key responsibilities.
- The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
- This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts available in AM and PM, with overnight/on-call opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will possess a current active WA State Registered Nurse license, a minimum of one year of experience, 36 guaranteed hours, specialty type nursing, sub-specialty dialysis nurse/dialysis acute.
