Key Responsibilities- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Conduct diagnostic procedures, including preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety throughout the examination
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely results, and communicate findings effectively to patients and referring physicians
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in magnetic resonance imaging technology and techniques
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registration as a Technologist (RT) and registration in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completion of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Radiography) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
