Stardock is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 3D Art Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality assets for our upcoming game title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create a variety of semi-stylized assets, including props, buildings, vegetation, and terrain, according to art direction and technical requirements.
  • Develop textures using Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to ensure project visuals and improve custom workflows and technology.
  • Implement assets into Unreal 5.
  • Establish art pipelines and documentation in collaboration with the Art Lead and Art Director.
  • Mentor entry-level and mid-level artists when needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in creating assets for games, as demonstrated in a visual portfolio.
  • Proficiency in standard industry tools, including Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
  • Strong understanding of color, form, composition, material properties, and environmental storytelling.
  • Experience working in a PBR asset creation pipeline.
  • Experience working with game engines, particularly Unreal Engine 5.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Bonus Requirements
  • High level of confidence in concepting and traditional drawing skills.
  • Degree or certification in 3D art, digital art, or a related field.
  • High level of experience creating substances in Substance Painter.
  • Experience creating animation, scripts, and visual effects.
  • Experience working with remote team members.
  • Experience working on a strategy game.
