As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our business, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions and verifying medication.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, providing personalized care and support.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
